Ways you can contribute

Thank you for joining us. Your donation will impact the future of young people in our community for generations to come. There are a number of ways you can contribute to the Building Leaders for Life capital campaign:

Gifts of Cash
Gifts of cash are the easiest way to assist the campaign. We suggest making your pledge over a multi-year period.

Gifts of Publicly Traded Assets
For many donors, gifts of stocks or bonds can provide tax benefits that are even greater than cash gifts. Any appreciated assets (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) donated to the campaign qualify for a federal and state tax deduction and avoid tax on capital gains.

Gifts of Real Estate
As with many people, your real estate holdings may be your most valuable assets. Homes, vacation homes, building lots and farms are allowable charitable gifts.

Charitable Remainder Trusts and Other Planned/Deferred Gifts
Planned gift opportunities may include pledges, living trusts, pooled income funds, charitable remainder trusts and life insurance.

Great Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation.
Gifts to the Building Leaders for Life campaign are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.
